On Sunday night, I have seen it at the Clay Theatre and I agree with the New York Times that stated that “this is the strongest, most resonant movie Woody Allen has made in years.” The film is perfect and all the actors are great. In particular it’s surprising that Allen chose an Australian and an English — Cate Blanchett and Sally Hawkins — to be two women from New York and San Francisco. But he was right because the two actresses did an amazing job. Also, Blanchett has a very hard role and I believe she is extraordinary. Strongly suggested.
